On Friday, police raided two Providence spa-brothels and arrested four people. Nam Kim was arrested at Down Town Spa for permitting prostitution. Down Town Spa was connected to a massive human trafficking network with operations centered in Flushing, N.Y. U.S. v. Kim, a 2006 federal human trafficking case spanning the east coast, included Down Town Spa. Down Town Spa remained open then and has an advertisement in this week's adult section of The Providence Phoenix.
